Information is being transmitted from the production plant through
an IModem to a predefined e-mail address, in the form of a binary
attachment.
On the server side an automated program checks for incoming mail,
extracts the binary attachment, formats the data and stores it into
a database.
Data presented in graphic format is made available by connecting to a specified web site.
Customers enter a username and password, and they can view the
latest information available from their site(s).
